A rare and unusual find from an American designer of the recent past. One of New York’s 2010s icons, Devi Kroell’s high quality pieces and unusual materials created a unique aesthetic, as seen here. Polished stingray skin, framed with silver metal, is set in naturally grained blonde wood. A sliding lock opens to a leather lining, and a detachable braided leather shoulder strap. Lock slides left, towards “Devi” in the “Devi Kroell” engraving. 5.5” x 3.5” x 1.5”; wood frame is approximately .25” thick. Crafted in Italy.
